Welcome to Zion Legacy of Love, a nonprofit created in honor of Zion Gibbs — a bright and loving 7-year-old whose life was tragically taken too soon. This space is dedicated to turning pain into purpose by uplifting children, supporting families affected by violence, and building a more compassionate community in Zion’s name.

Community Block Party
June 7, 2025, from 12 PM to 6 PM
Festival Park, 335 Ray Ave, Fayetteville NC.
This free, family-friendly event is will honor the life of Zion Gibbs with the Gibbs family and also invites local family in uniting the community and promoting anti-violence, featuring food, music, games, entertainment, speakers, and activities for all ages.
Zion Legacy of Love
In December 2024, the Zion Legacy of Love Toy Drive brought an overwhelming outpouring of support to Fire Station No. 5 on Cumberland Road. Led by Zion’s mother, Myra Gibbs, and joined by his siblings Zaire and Zariyah, the drive collected hundreds of toys for children at UNC Children’s Hospital and 31 students at Bright Young Minds Academy, where Zion attended school.

MISSION
Our mission is to honor Zion’s legacy by spreading love, creating safe spaces for youth, and providing healing support for families impacted by trauma and violence. We believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and celebrated.
HOW WE HELP
We transform loss into love by:
– Hosting annual toy drives in Zion’s memory
– Supporting families impacted by gun violence
– Creating community events focused on peace and healing
– Connecting youth mentorship and positive outlets
– Raising awareness around local safety and prevention
