Zion’s Legacy of Love marked a major milestone with the success of its first Back 2 School Drive, providing essential school supplies to children and families in the Fayetteville community.
The event, held at the Cumberland Road Fire Department, resulted in the distribution of approximately 200 bookbags in just one hour. Each backpack was filled with much-needed school supplies, helping students prepare for the upcoming school year with confidence and support.
The rapid turnout reflected both the need within the community and the strong response from families who attended. Volunteers worked efficiently to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience, allowing children to receive supplies quickly while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Zion’s Legacy of Love extends sincere gratitude to the Cumberland Road firefighters for opening their space and standing alongside the organization during the event. Their support, along with the dedication of volunteers, played a critical role in making the drive successful.
This Back 2 School Drive continues the mission of Zion’s Legacy of Love—honoring the life of Zion Arym Gibbs by uplifting children and families through acts of service, compassion, and care. While this was the organization’s first school supply drive, the impact made in a single hour demonstrated the strength of community partnerships and the power of collective action.
Zion’s Legacy of Love looks forward to building on this momentum with future outreach efforts that continue to support students, families, and neighborhoods across Fayetteville.
